Karachi Kitchen

If you were to ask us about our favourite restaurant in Mississauga that serves delicious kababs, we would not be able to suggest any restaurant. However, we think we may have a place to recommend after our recent visit to Karachi Kitchen at Meadowvale Town Circle & Winston Churchill Blvd. (6560 Meadowvale Town Circle).

We were craving kababs and came across tons of restaurants, but couldn’t really find one that we could be happy with. We weren’t in the mood to drive far either, so we decided to try out Karachi Kitchen.

Since we were hungry, we quickly skimmed through the menu and decided to order a couple of BBQ items: Reshmi (Chicken Seekh) Kabab ($7.48) and Beef Behari Kabab ($8.99 + $2.00 for combo).

Though this is a dine-in location, patrons are required to walk up to the counter to place an order and pay for their meal. A server did bring the food to the table, which was nice.

Reshmi Kabab

We first tried Reshmi Kabab, which we thought were delicious (seasoned and bbq’ed well)! The order size was in line with the norm, where 2 medium-ish sized kababs were served along with salad and chutney.

Bihari Kabab

We then reluctantly tried Bihari Kabab and to our surprise they were tasty and bbq’ed to perfection! At this point we were quite amazed and happy with our decision to try out Karachi Kitchen. What we’ve noticed with bihari kababs is many restaurants prepare them fairly bland and the beef is usually very chewy and undercooked. However, this wasn’t the case here. We found upsizing our order to a combo to be a good deal where we were able to get rice, naan and pop for only $2 extra. We were pleasantly surprised to see our dinner accompanied with biryani rice (as opposed to plain rice). We enjoyed the naan as well.

All in all, we are confident that the next time we are in the mood for kababs in Mississauga, we will be heading straight to Karachi Kitchen! Karachi Kitchen accepts both Dine Halal & Halal Foodie discount cards as well!
